Conditions required to bail out an accused



The temporary release of a person who is under arrest or who has already appeared in court is the process known as "bail". The laws governing when you can and cannot be bailed are contained in the BAIL ACT 2000.

Bail is offered as of right for bailable offenses. If an offense is bailable, the accused must be granted bail.
